Friday Favourites: Sharing the Blog Love #17

Happy Friday
Welcome to 'Friday Favourites' - a weekly link up party. Link parties are a great opportunity for bloggers to get together and have a 'party', sharing their favourite, best or most recent posts from their blogs. Whether you are a blogger or a reader, it's the perfect place where you can make new friends, read some new blogs, and share the blog love. I am excited to be collaborating with some of my favourite bloggers - Lisa (Lisasaurus), and Maria (Happy Mum, Happy Child) - each blogger bringing something new and fun to the party!

***Please note: Our link party will now OPEN at 7pm (27/5/16)***

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who has linked up with us - YOU are all amazing.  If you are new to our link up party - WELCOME - If you like what you see and read, please share the blog love by simply commenting, subscribing, following bloggers on Social Media, and sharing your favourites on Facebook, Twitter, and/or pinning to Pinterest. Be sure to come back each week and link up with us every Friday night 7pm (NZ time)...we would love to 'party' with you.

It's Friday so... "Let's get the party started!"

To kick things off, here are some of my favourites from the week...Enjoy!

Favourite Blogger:

Fellow Kiwi Mummy Blogger, Mel from Flicker and Flock has such a gorgeous blog, you really need to check it out. Last week on Friday Favourites - she shared her awesome tips of 'How to plan a memorable Kids Party'. Mel is a party planner if you have a birthday party coming up for your little one, be sure to check out her tips. You can also follow her on Instagram and Facebook

Favourite Magazine:
OHbaby! is my favourite Parenting magazine, in fact I have just renewed my yearly subscription for the third time. There is so much great information in one magazine and the website is full of amazing content as well. It makes a great gift for a new mum too, I bought a year subscription for my sister-in-law last year and she really enjoys receiving it - who doesn't love happy mail, right?

Favourite Play Idea:

Last week, Mud Mates shared a really awesome play idea - Fizzing Baking Soda Paint. I have done foam eruptions before with my son, (you can see my post HERE) but never thought to use it as paint! Brilliant - I love this idea. Have you tried it? I know what we are going to be doing this weekend.

Recently on Teacher by trade, Mother by nature:
No blog post from me this week, sorry...I am hoping to get 'My KonMari Journey: Home Decor' post on the blog next week. Watch this space.

In the meantime, please check out some of my READER FAVOURITES

  • My KonMari Journey: PAPER has been very popular this week, and all the traffic is coming from Pinterest, so that's a bit exciting.
  • Do you love Washi tape? I did a round up of some awesome ways to store your washi tape, including my own way. Check it out HERE. If you have a washi tape addiction, I would love to know how you store yours.
  • Have you read my Labour and Birth Story? I gave birth to a 10lb 14oz very healthy baby boy. This is my story.

Now it's your turn...
If you're a blogger, feel free to link up your Favourite, Best or Most Recent post from the past week or of all time, it's totally up to you, and if you get a chance, pop around and share the blog love with the other awesome linkers. The 'Friday Favourites' party kicks off every Friday night at 7pm (NZ time) and will close on Sunday night at 7pm.

You can link up here or over on Lisa's blog (Lisasaurus), or Maria's blog (Happy Mum, Happy Child). Where ever you link up, it will show in all 3 places, how cool is that? A link back to us on your post is appreciated. You can grab our button below.

Please note:
  • Any Giveaways will be removed
  • Link up a blog post, not your blog URL.
  • Share the blog love: Comment on at least 1-2 other blogs.

Have a fabulous weekend, and I hope you enjoy reading some amazing blogs, I know I will!
