10+ Fun Halloween Ideas for Toddlers

Today I am sharing a round up of 10+ Fun Halloween Ideas for Toddlers I have seen on Pinterest and circulating around the blog-o-sphere this past week. But first I wanted to share some of the creations my son brought home this week from home-based childcare.

My son's carer is from Canada, so Halloween is a favourite holiday of hers and this week she did some super cute crafts with the kids in her care. They made a cute Jack-o-Lantern garland (using orange card, black sharpie and some googly eyes), and decorated some pumpkin shaped biscuits (with orange icing and sprinkles). The carer read Halloween themed books, and kindly gave each child a Halloween balloon and a little pumpkin she carved herself. Yes, she is amazing! We are so lucky to have her.

And now, here's the round up...enjoy!

  8. I loved the Halloween stuff on Pinterest and could have scanned for hours. This year came by so fast that I completely lost the plot and didn't do anything because illness and holidays got in the way. There's always next year. Zoe xx

  9. What awesome ideas! I think I love your son's pumpkin cookie the best - how cute is that!? I collect cookie cutters but don't have a pumpkin, I must rectify this situation immediately! When I was teaching, I was a big fan of screwed up crepe paper so that crepe paper pumpkin gets my vote, as does the paper plate pumpkin. Gotta love those paper plates! Hope y'all had a happy and safe Halloween x

  10. So many cute ideas there. Do you know that this year was the first year I havent really gotten into Halloween. I mean I handed out lollies and stuff but my two youngest boys were grounded for fighting so I felt like crap getting too into Halloween when they weren't going trick or treating lol xx
