First and foremost...
Congratulations
to The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who has welcomed a baby girl, into their family. Prince George's little sister arrived May 2, 2015 at 8:34am weighing in at 8 pounds 3 ounces. For full details of how everything panned out - click here.

It was a great way to end the week hearing the Princess has arrived! The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton looked absolutely stunning after just giving birth to a baby, and Prince William absolutely stoked to have a little girl. Prince George is a big brother and I could only imagine he is going to be a very protective one of his little sister.
What's Been Happening This Week?
It's surreal to know we are already in the month of May! I know I have said it before but this year is going way to fast - I can already smell Summer!
My biggest achievement - completing the Blogging from A to Z Challenge! I blogged EVERY DAY for a month! Phew! What an adventure! I am going to be sharing my Reflection post this week, so keep an eye out for that. It was a great challenge and I am really glad that I participated - and now I am glad it's over! I am knackered...and might take a mini break from the blog soon just to catch up on some sleep! Click on #AtoZChallenge at the top of my blog to see ALL my posts for the challenge.
We are getting closer to Settlement Day! We have remained positive throughout this whole ordeal of 'buying a home' and know the house that we move into will be OUR HOME - perfect for us! In the meantime, I really need to get started on packing! Eek - Wish me Luck!
Having fun at Mainly Music |
I am loving being a Stay-At-Home Mama! I am treasuring this time I have with Master M. I missed out on the toddler years with Miss B, due to going back to full time study/work. Now, I am in a situation where I don't need to return to full time work and get to stay at home with my boy and attend school activities to support Miss B. Yaye!
PLAY: Artist Master M |
Our week is getting filled up pretty quickly with activities and places to go...and it's great!
Miss B is thriving at school. She was awarded two feathers for showing leadership in her Team. There are seven feathers in total that Senior students can get for various leadership roles - They are: Te Reo Māori (Language), ICT, Sandpit, PE, Environmental, Librarian , and Wet Day Monitor. She is determined to get all her feathers before the end of the year. I am super proud of her for gaining two feathers: Sandpit and Wet Day Monitor, and taking on a leadership role at school! She has come a long way since her first year at school - she was a VERY shy, five year old! Well done Miss B!
We have had a quiet weekend, just hanging out at home! It's been lovely!
This week we are hoping to view a couple of houses and might put an offer on the table! Exciting!
