I is for #inthepicture

On the 10th day of every month, I am joining Bron from Maxabella Loves (and many others) to get #inthepicture. You can read more about it here, here and here.

I love taking photos of my children, family and friends, and every now and again I will step out from behind the camera, and actually get in the picture too - especially when it comes to photos with my children. In fact, I look back at the photos of when my daughter was born - I was a single mama so it was just her and I - we took a lot of selfies together, and other days - I would use the timer on the camera to change it up a bit. The cool thing is, is at the end of the day I have photos of me and my girl, and that is something I will treasure forever.

When I look at photos, there are times I don't even recognise myself and then there are times I remember that girl. Yes, I have insecurities about how I look in photos, but most of the time, I look past the weight, wrinkles and wobbly bits, and cherish every photo I am in - especially when I am with my children.

So, here I am #inthepicture...
...with my beautiful children
...Water Play with my son
...Selfie time with my kids
 ...Messy Play - Goop
...Mother & Daughter Date  - Movie & Manicure
...This is Me!

  6. Lovely pictures, and memories. I take lots of pictures of my kids but don't get in the pictures that often. You reminded me of something a friend (who has older children than me) said recently - children like to look at old pictures and videos of them with their parents. So you've inspired me to do this more!! Thanks for sharing with the #BlogFair
